Air Wear Foundation (FWF)

It is an independent, non-profit organization that works with companies to improve working conditions in the textile and clothing industry. The Fair Wear Foundation oversees compliance with a code of conduct specifically in the clothing industry, overseeing audits on an international scale. Companies with their membership in the foundation sign up to comply with the code of conduct, which is based on international labor organization conventions and the declaration of human rights.

The declaration includes the following standards:

- Prohibition of the use of child labor,

- Prohibition of the use of forced labor,

- safe and healthy working conditions,

- legal employment contract,

- living wage,

- Freedom of association and the right

for collective bargaining,

- No discrimination against workers,

- No excessive working hours.
